Well as you know I'm in Youngstown for the week. I am having a great time. I don't think I've laughed this hard in a long time. I laughed the entire way in the car on the way down here. Jennie and Chris cracked me the heck up. It was the type of laughing when your face hurts after you are done. It felt good. I had a little moment today at "nap time" after I got off the phone with the stupid medical examiner. (a different post for a different time) There was only a few tears and then I was fine. It was more frustration that anything, well and missing Shawn more than I have ever missed him before. It feels really weird being here with out him. The rest of the week I will be splitting my time between all of my friends. I'm staying the nights with Jennie and Lora and the days running around seeing people. I will update on my trip in a day or so. For now I wanted to let you know that I'm having a good time, smiling, laughing, we have talked about Shawn many different times. Jennie and Lora are the greatest friends and have been awesome! Oh-for those wondering Bo is with me...he is a little out of sorts but is doing pretty well. He is really liking playing with the kids.
Now a little Christmas game to play
Lora sent this to me in an email. I thought it would be a fun blog post and a way to get to know each other a bit more. I've seen it on other blogs as well. Feel free to copy this and put it on your blog as well.

Just a visitor to your blog. My husband is also a football coach. My heart grieves with yours over the loss of your husband and child. I too also lost a baby right around the same time. No matter how small life was, it was still your baby and it takes time to heal. Thank GOD for his grace and that he is with you no matter what- even when it may not feel like it. God bless and Merry Christmas to you!
That is so neat you get to have some fun with your friends. I am so happy to hear you laughing and having a great time. When do you get back?
One of my favorite gifts as a child was a cabbage patch who also had red hair and green eyes. I was so silly I had and still have my collection of maybe 18 of them in my basement. Silly huh....
Have fun and stay safe...
I'm going to have to copy this for my blog!
BTW, you forgot Dasher! :-)
