How Awesome is This?

This morning I got up to check my email as I always to. Like I said yesterday I have been getting several emails a day from people who are reading my blog. Sometimes people send me a message letting me know that they are thinking about me and praying for me, others have sent emails sharing their stories of loss with me, while others have emailed me to tell me that because of my story they now love their husbands more than they did yesterday. I really appreciate every email that is sent to me and I respond personally to each and every one of them. Thank you once again to all who have sent emails and words of encouragement.

Today when I checked my email I received something AMAZING from a lady named Melissa that reads my blog. (http://www.bmcconner.blogspot.com/) In her email she told me that she was heartbroken for me, but yet felt inspired by the words that I have written in my blog. Melissa went on to tell me that she has a friend who lives in Australia. She asked her friend if she would go to the beach and write Shawn's name in the sand for me. The following pictures are from her trip to the beach. I had tears in my eyes when I looked at them for the first time. They are the most amazing and beautiful pictures that I have seen! Melissa's friend did and AWESOME job!! I love them!! I'm going to print them off, frame them and then hang them in my bedroom. Her friend took four pictures of Shawn's name. The heart in the picture represents our baby.
This is my favorite one that Melissa's friend took. I love the way the waves are crashing in the background and the way that the sun is hitting the sand. I love that the three of us are in this picture together.
Here is one of just Shawn's name. Again taken beautifully.

Another one of the three of us.

The last one that she took is my second favorite. Again the picture is amazing but what I like is that it is of just Shawn and the Baby...the way that they both are now in Heaven.
I thought these pictures were just awesome and wanted to share them with you.
Melissa's friend also has a blog the address is http://www.namesinthesand.blogspot.com/.
Melissa, if you are reading this tonight THANK-YOU! It really means a lot to me and you are right...these pictures are beautiful, they did bring me joy and brought me a peaceful feeling as well. Thank you once again.

That is SOO awesome! Melissa's friend, Carly, is so amazing. She has an incredible ministry doing these names in the sand for those of us who've lost loved ones. I'm so glad you got those pictures and I know they have given you such peace (as mine has given me).
Hugs and prayers,
Amanda

We too lost a child back in 2004. Carly at Names in the Sand is absolutely a sweetheart and has done alot of amazing things for families that have lost their children way too soon.

Hope you enjoy those pictures... I know that I cherish mine.

Jen, You're so welcome :) I knew they'd bless your heart, as they blessed mine...when Carly sent them my way. Carly.....is an amazing person who does this to bring healing and show that grieving can be beautiful in its own way.

You have blessed me by your blog...and I want to tell you thanks too :) Blessings, Mel

We talk about you often in my Bible study!
I live in southern VA. They ask about you.
We are just amazed to see the Lord working in your life and being able to see His glory in your own personal tradegy.
I hope and pray you continue to find yourself and your relationship with Him during this time. :)
I became a follower just a few days after your husband died. I have NO idea how I found your blog. But I am glad that God is allowing me to be a witness to your story.

I love how the sun was in all of the pictures. Since you said before the sun always shines when Shawn lets you know he is around. Every picture had the sun in it. That is so neat.
