ABC Game

I found this little game on another blog. I honestly can't remember which one, because I have been reading so many new blogs lately. Anyways, since I have had so many new readers within the last few weeks I thought this would be fun and a way for some of my new readers to get to know me a little bit more.



A. Attached or single? Wow-this is a tricky question for me. I'm actually not really sure how to answer. I guess technically I'm considered a widow (That is such an awful word) So that would make me single. However, there are times when I still talk about Shawn like we are together. Lets just say I'm single, but my heart is still in love with Shawn. I will always be in love with Shawn no mater if I met another man or not. I guess this is a long explanation for saying I'm single. ~Haven't said that in like 13 years!

B. Best friend? Yup-3 of them. The best girl friends that I could ever ask for!

C. Cake or pie? Pie

D. Dog or cat? Dog- I have one Boston Terrier that I got after Shawn died, named Bo. I named him after Shawn's favorite college football coach Bo Schemebecler

E. Essential item? I don't go anywhere without my cell phone and lip gloss from Bath and Body Works.

F. Favorite color? Blue

G. Gummy bears or worms? Bears

H. Hometown? Midland, Mi

I. Favorite indulgence? I love getting my nails done

J. January or July? July- I love summer time and HATE the winter.

K. Kids? Another tricky question-Again, technically I don't have any here on earth with me. Five days after Shawn passed away I found out our baby stopped growing and had a miscarriage. So now my baby is in Heaven with it's Daddy.

L. Life isn’t complete without? My family and friends.

M.Marriage date? May 19, 2001

N. Number of brothers and sisters? 1 younger sister and 1 younger brother. Both are in their late 20's.

O. Oranges or apples? I like both

P. Phobias? I HATE mice and rats of any size or color. Can't stand the creepy little things. I think it is the long tail and beady little eyes. Ugh!!

Q. Quote? "The life given us by nature is short...But the memory of a well-spent life is eternal." Cicero~Shawn's life ended way to early, but what he taught me in life, how he lived his life and the memories of our life that I have will be remembered by me forever.

R. Reasons to smile? There are many days when I don't feel like smiling. Those days I think about Shawn and him telling me that he loved my smile and loved when I smiled. The last 4 1/2 months have been the saddest and hardest months of my life, but I've also been blessed with moments during that time that has made me smile as well. I smile when I think about my friends. Just now...just the last few days I start to sort of kind of smile when I think about what my future holds for me and the New Jenny that I'm trying to find.

S. Season of choice? Summer-I like it when it is hot.

T. Travel dreams? I would love to go and relax on a beach somewhere with my friends.

U. Unknown fact about me? I'm very anal and OCD. My closet is organized in order of sleeve length and then organized by color. When I had my own house my kitchen cabinets were organized in ABC order and by size of the can. I know I have problems..

V. Vegetable? I LOVE green beans. I can eat them right out of the can.

W. Worst habit? I think my worst habit is that I'm a worry wort. I've always been a worrier, but I think it has gotten a little worse since losing Shawn and the baby. I'm trying really hard not to let New Jenny worry about little things.

X. X-ray or ultrasound? Ultrasound

Y. Your favorite restaurants? Anything with 'real' Mexican food. I'm not talking Taco Bell either.
