A Quote For Shawn on Faithful Friday

Tomorrow is Shawn's birthday. He would have been 33 years young. This quote is for him. He lived every second of his life to the fullest. He wanted more than anything to be a college football coach. With tons of hard work, dedication and perseverance like I have never seen before he was on the way to accomplishing his dream. While his job was difficult at times, he still loved it, he loved being a part of that team and he loved me more than "life itself". (his words not mine) Shawn lived his life to the fullest everyday, and taught and is still teaching me to do the same. This quote is for Shawn.

"And in the end, it's not the years in your life that count. It's the life in your years"
Abraham Lincoln

Please stick with me for tomorrow's post. If you don't read often, please come back and do so tomorrow. If I can get it to work, I have something 'big' in mind as a way to honor Shawn on his birthday. As you know I'm not all that tech savvy, so pray I can get it to work. I think you will all like this.

What a beautiful quote. From what you've told us about Shawn, it does seem to fit him perfectly.

Good luck with tomorrow's post! I'll keep my fingers crossed that everything goes according to plan.

P.S. Please bear with me over the next week if I don't comment much after Monday. We're traveling to the in-laws for a pretty lengthy Thanksgiving visit and I don't think I'll have internet access. Boo!
