I'm Back!

Ok...this is going to be quick!! I have to leave in just a while and still haven't gotten in the shower. I just wanted to let you all know that I made it back safe and sound. You will get a post later tonight...it maybe late by the time I get home. The post will be My Chicago Trip Part 1. Then the part two will follow the next day.

Ok...off to get in the shower!! I promise you will get a post from me later tonight! And yes, with pictures...lots of them!

After Shawn passed away and I lost our baby I had never felt so much grief. Every single day was hard. Shawn and I were together for 12 years. I didn't know how to be "Me" without him. It has now been two and a half years since his death. I took the time to grieve and I still do. I will ALWAYS love and miss him. However, through this process I have figured out a lot about my self and what really is important in life. I've learned not to take today for granted because you never know what tomorrow will bring. I've learned to love in a stronger way because you never know when it will be taken from you. I still have hard moments but that is just part of grief, but I now know how to handle them. I now hold memories of Shawn and I in my heart where they will be with me forever and nobody can take those from me. I also now look forward to creating and making new memories. After finding strength I didn't know I had I am happy to say I have found my "new normal". I'm looking forward to what my future has in store for me and I look forward to sharing it all with you.
