All Clear

Results of my HSG test....GREAT!!!

My Dr. said that my tubes were "beautifully clear", my uterus was in great shape. I had no cysts, polyps or anything else that would potentially cause problems when getting pregnant. So in a nut shell everything went very well. PHEW!!!

I'm not gonna lie...it did hurt, but nothing too bad. It was just very intense (did I mention intense) cramps. It kinda felt like somebody was pulling at my fallopian tubes and tying them in giant knots. (Fun huh?) Actually, it wasn't that bad, and I'm really glad that the results were great.

I figured my Dr. would say to keep having sex, and then come back in a few months if nothing happens. But he wants to take the next step. On either the day before or the day I ovulate, we need to ummm...do the deed and then I go in and the Dr. will check to make sure that the sperm can live in my "environment". It will also look at how fast the sperm are swimming to where they need to go. So I will have that done sometime in the next week. Again, please keep your fingers crossed that this test goes well too.
