This Is For All You Who Live In Michigan

Once again I'm so sorry for my lack of blogging. Before I get to the "Michigan" part of this post, I need to tell you a few things....

After taking a few days to figure out my blog make over I was going to start working on it and surprise all of you by just posting one day and having a totally new look. Well, that just did not happen. For the last week I have looked at literally tons of websites that either offer blog templates or blog designs. I have liked some of them, but none of them really caught my eye...ya know what I mean? So I just decided I would take matters into my own hands and do the create and make over my little ole self. Okay, insert crazy laugh here. Anyone who knows me knows that I'm not all that great with technology. I don't even know how to update my Ipod. (it still has the same songs on it that Shawn put on for me...know idea how to add more) So to install my own layout, let alone create and install one I found out was totally out of the question!! However, one of the blogs that I read (I'm not telling you know, I will save it for the big reveal) got a new blog make over and it was so cute. I contacted the person who did her make over (again, keeping it a secret) and guess what she offered to work with me and re-due my blog for me!!! Yeah!!! I'm so excited and I have a sneaky feeling it's going to come out 100% fantastic looking! So excited to show it all to you once we...or I mean she gets it finished. Stay tuned....

Also somehow I have managed to get really sick. I've had an on and off again "cold" for a few weeks now, but nothing major. However, Sunday night all hell broke loose. I felt fine all Sunday, then right after dinner I got a really sore throat. My 8:00 I was sound asleep on the couch and slept until 11:00. I woke up with tons of white spots on my tonsils and a fever of 101. Needless to say I felt like death when I woke up Monday morning. I took my sick self to the doctor and ended up with an ear infection, sinus infection and yes, you guessed it full blown strep throat. All day yesterday I felt like total 100% ass!! Ry was great and called several times a day to check up on me, he was so sweet. I feel a little bit better today, it still hurts to swallow and I still have a low fever but I do feel better than yesterday so that is good. I was off of work the last two days and not sure about tomorrow, will see how I feel in the morning. I hope none of you get the crap that is going around, it is just miserable!

Now for the "Michigan" part of this post.

Where I live in Michigan we are under a blizzard warning for tonight and tomorrow, yes a BLIZZARD warning. I'm 33 years and I never remember a blizzard...ever! We already have about a foot of snow on the ground with 3 fresh inches we got this morning. It is supposed to start snowing badly at 10:00 and keep snowing until tomorrow afternoon. We are supposed to have six inches by 2:00 a.m and it is supposed to be the worst tomorrow morning between the hours of 5:00-10:00 am. With a supposed whopping 12-15 inches of snow by tomorrow afternoon. With temperatures around -15 below and wind guests 30-40 miles an hour. So yes, if all of this happens it will be BAD outside. However, notice how I keep saying "supposed" You see if you live in Michigan, especially where I live you hear all the time about all the snow we could end up getting. But you see, we just never, ever get that much snow, typically a "big storm" for us is maybe 6 inches. So I'm very doubtful that we will actually end up getting this big blizzard.

As of right this second 226 schools and businesses have canceled, it's windy as all get out, it is snowing and my lights are starting to flicker on and off. Huh...maybe I will be wrong on this one. If I am I'm hoping it's enough to close the daycare where I work..I could really use another sick day.
