I Think It's Time For A Random Post

Okay, here is the thing I actually had a post all lined up in my head to write about. However it is now almost 10:30 and well it has been a long day and I'm tired and ready for bed, but since I haven't posted in a week I really want to do a post. So what's better than a post with a few random thoughts?

*It's no lie...I'm not a big fan of fall mainly because fall leads right into winter and I 100% hate winter. However, the season is here, there is a chill in the air and I figured I might as well do something to make me enjoy this time of year just a bit more. So I decided to get my Scentsy Flamless candle out and make our house smell nice warm and cozy. Have any of you heard of Scentsy before? They are amazing and come in literally 100's of yummy scents. You purchase a burner and then just melt the little ice cube looking brick of scent in your burner. They will burn for hours and make your entire house smell wonderful. Currently, to help get me in the mood for fall I'm burning Warm Cinnamon Vanilla. It smells so good it almost makes me happy that it is fall time. (I said almost, I'm not 100% there yet.) If any of you would like more information on Scentsy send me an email, one of my friends is a consultant and I know she would be happy to help you.

*Guess what is back at Starbucks??
Yup, you guessed it their Pumpkin Spice Latte's are back just in time for the fall season. Huh, looks like fall is coming whether I'm ready or not. I'm not a huge fan of pumpkin pie, actually I don't really like it at all but for some reason I fell in love with the Pumpkin Spice Latte last year. I was down right giddy the other day when I went through the drive thru and Starbucks and saw the picture of Pumpkin Spice Latte staring back at me.

*Any of you have read my blog for any amount of time know that I like reality T.V shows and one of my favorite shows is Dancing With the Stars. I'm so going to watch it starting on Monday but I have to say I'm severely disappointed in the selection of "stars" this season. I mean seriously how does Bristol Palin qualify as a star? And David Hasselhoff...PLEASE! I have a pretty good track record at guessing who the final two are going to be. For this season I'm going to go with Audrina Partridge from The Hills (that I must admit I'm pissed I got into this show big time this season and it was the final season) and I also think that Mike "The Situation" from Jersey Shore stands a chance at being very good. While I think he is a complete and total moron I think he might have a shot at the shiny mirror ball trophy. So there you have it my final two picks. I'm also kind of excited that Micheal Bolton will be on this season. I'm sure he won't go too far on the show but he was the first concert I ever went to see and I secretly had a huge crush on him back in the day. I know I was a huge dork, just keep it a secret and don't tell anyone!

*A few weeks ago I went shopping with a new girlfriend. She is the wife of one of Ry's best friends and her and I have really hit it off. Anyways she took a Friday off of work and we decided to go shopping. We both ended up buying way more than we had counted on, but I guess it is fine. I however, bought of the most comfortable pairs of jeans that I have ever in my life purchased before. I got them from The Gap and they are the softest, coziest pair of jeans EVER! When I wear them I almost forget that they are jeans because they feel just like my yoga pants that I tend to wear about everyday. For those of you who are wondering they are The Curvy jeans in medium wash. I think I just might go back and get them in the dark wash too.

*College football has started. I have to say I'm kind of impressed with UofM football so far this year. I know they have only played two games but still. So far they have drastically improved from last season. Ry also loves UofM football, so it feels really good once again to hang out at home on Saturdays and watch football with someone.

*A few posts ago I said that I had started doing Jillian Michaels Power Yoga DVD. Oh My Goodness....I had no idea what I was getting myself into when I started that DVD a few weeks ago. I was thinking nice peaceful Yoga, boy was I wrong! I sweat more doing that DVD then I do running on the treadmill and lifting at the gym. There is nothing peaceful about this workout DVD. I work out all the time and I can hardly finish the entire CD without feeling like my arms and legs are going to fall off of my body! Jillian doesn't mess around, she will for sure kick your butt into shape.

*I've saved the best for last!!! One week from this Saturday one of my best friends Jennie is going to be getting married!! Her wedding is going to be outside on this amazingly pretty place nestled deep in the woods. Our other best friend Lora and about five other amazing girls are all going to be bridesmaid's. We each got to pick out our own style of dress. The only stipulation is they had to be tea length and had to be either, mocha, truffle, or champagne in color. My dress is strapless and I decided to get it in champagne. I loved the dress so much I got the same one just in a different color for my brother's wedding in April. Jennie's wedding is going to be so much fun! I can hardly wait to get there and enjoy spending a great weekend with great people. I'm also really excited because Ry is going to go with me and I can't wait for him to finally get to meet some of my friends. When I get back from the wedding expect a big post with lots and lots of pictures!! It's going to be so much FUN!!

I actually have been reading your blog for over a year now and just recently started my own blog. Anyway, wanted to comment to tell you that the Gap jeans you love ARE awesome and they are $35 in store from now until the 19th I think. I bought 3 pairs, all in the dark wash. The dark wash fits more snug and doesn't get loose throughout the day. Enjoy!

I love Scentsy! I received one as a gift last Xmas and now I am hooked on them. I grab for these now instead of my traditional candles.

The pumpkin spice latte sounds delicious and I bet it smells awesome. Wish I was a coffee drinker.

Lovin this fall weather and all the great things that go along with it.
