Once again another week without posting. I know you are all totally shocked. To be honest nothing really has happened this week worth blogging about. Actually there was one thing but when I sat down with my laptop to write about it I ended up falling asleep instead. So stay tuned for that post, it will be coming shortly. I didn't really thing this thing was a big deal at the time, however now after it's over I realized that it was a big deal and I'm kind of proud of myself for doing what I did. Are you all in suspense now?

Yesterday when I was reading blogs I came a crossed a fun little blog game. I haven't done one of these in a while, so I thought it would be fun to do it today. I've also noticed that I have a few new readers so it might be fun for them as well. Here it goes,

One baby in Heaven. However, if you count my dog Bo then yes I do. There are times when I think he is more work than kids.

I would think so. For the most part I'm a very nice caring and considerate person.

7. DO YOU USE SARCASM A LOT?

When the time is right I can bring it.

Possibly if it was one of those types where two can jump at a time.

Yes, otherwise you can ruin them. It's a little something Shawn instilled in me.

After what I have been through I would say I've become a very strong person. I handle myself differently now and I don't put up with much crap. Shawn always used to say I was stronger than I gave myself credit for. Guess he was right!

13. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE ICE CREAM?
Depends on the season. If it's fall time I LOVE apple pie ice cream. Any other time of year I'm a fan of Snickers, or Mint Chocolate chip. However, I will eat just about any kind of ice cream.

14. WHAT IS THE FIRST THING YOU NOTICE ABOUT PEOPLE?

Either their hands, teeth, or eyes. It's a toss up.

35 Silly Questions #22

Well friends, it's blog game time once again. I saw this over on Amy's blog http://www.keepingupwiththeschultzfamily.blogspot.com a few weeks ago and wanted to save it for a day during NaBloPoMo when I had little time for a 'real' post. Today happens to be the day. Feel free to use this on your blog as well.


Here are my answers to 35 silly questions...(that I'm sure nobody really cares about)


1. What color is your favorite hoodie? Navy Blue with white NMU lettering on it. NMU stands for Northern Michigan University, where Shawn and I went to college.

2. Do you plan outfits? Yeah you could say that. I don't lay my clothes out or anything like that, but at night before I go to sleep I do plan out what I'm going to wear the next day.

3. What’s the closest thing to you that's red? A box of Junior Mint Peppermint Crunch candies. Have you had these yet? Oh so yummy!!

4. Did you meet anybody new today? Nope I don't think so. But last week at Target I met a lady who came up to me and told me she reads my blog.

5. What are you craving right now? A fountain pop of regular Mountain Dew.

6. Do you floss? I used to every single day. Not so much anymore. Maybe once or twice a week.

7. What comes to mind when I say cabbage? My Cabbage Patch baby I named Carrie in the first grade.

8. Are you emotional? Me...emotional....nah! (yes, at times very)

9. Would you dance to the taco song? I don't know if I have ever heard the taco song.
But probably not, I'm not the greatest dancer

10. Have you ever counted to 1,000? I think so.

11. Do you bite into your ice cream or just lick it? I lick it. If I bite ice cream it hurts my teeth.

12. Do you like your hair? Yup, love the cut. Just got new 'winter' highlights the other day.

13. Have you ever met a celebrity? Yup many years ago Shawn, my sister and I were in a mall in Traverse City, Michigan and we say the country band Lonestar. I got their autograph, then they gave us all free tickets and backstage passes to their concert that night.

14. What are you listening to right now? The jingle of Bo's collar as he walks around

15. Are your parents strict? They were when I was younger.

16. Would you go sky diving? Yeah, no way in hell.

17. Would you go out to eat with George W. Bush? Maybe just to say I ate dinner with him.

20. Do you know your neighbors? Yup. I talk to one of them almost every day. Bo loves to play with their dogs.

28. Last time you cried? Last night. A few tears on Shawn's birthday.

30. Do you like your life right now? Boy that is a hard question. Lets just say I'm getting used to my life right now. I've come a long ways since last year, but still not there a hundred percent. But it is getting better every day.

31. How often do you talk on the phone? Pretty much talk to my friends every single day.

32. What is your favorite animal? I love all animals. I currently have a thing for Giraffes


33. What was the most recent thing you bought? Can't say, they are Christmas gifts for people

34. Can you hula hoop? Yes, it's a great Ab workout.

35. Have you ever crawled through a window? I think once when I was younger. My friend played a joke on me and said the house was locked. I was the smallest one of us, so I crawled through it. Then once I was in her entire family was laughing at me. Yeah, I was really gullible back in the day.

Me From A to Z

Well I'm in Youngstown and I'm having a truly wonderful time. I spent Easter Sunday with Lora's family. I have great stories to share and lots and lots of pictures to post. However, I'm running short on time right now and don't feel like downloading them all right now. But the post about my Easter with a true Italian family. All I can say for now is that I have never eaten so much in my entire life, nor have I ever felt so welcomed by a huge bunch of people that I have never met. At one point I almost had tears in my eyes because I was so happy to be spending the holiday with my friend and her whole entire family. It was great, but like I said more about that to come, maybe I will share that tomorrow...if I have time. I do kind of have a busy day planned. If time allows I will post about it, if not it will be on Wednesday. My Story

First of all let me apologize for not updating my blog on a regular basis. It seems as though I'm starting to get some what of a social life back, and I have been gone more than I have been in the last several months. Who would have thought a social life returning for me? Anyways I do have things to blog about, however, I'm getting ready to run out of the door and run some errands...you know important things like tanning. However I found this fun little game on several of the blogs that I read and thought that for today this would be my post. I also want to thank each and every one of you who leave me such wonderful and thought full comments after each of my posts. The comments that I received after my last post about my "question" were amazing to me. Thank you for understanding what I was trying to say, and thank you as well for wanting me to be happy once again. You all mean a great deal to me and I just wanted to let you know that once again.

The one person who can drive me nuts is: Myself. Sometimes I tend to over think things and it drives me crazy. I'm working on that though.
When I'm nervous: I either bite the inside of my cheek or crack my knuckles. However, I do tend to crack my knuckles at times when I'm not nervous as well.

If you were to get married today Your maid of honor/best man would be: I would not have a "specific" maid of honor. Instead I would have my 3 best friends in the world Jennie, Lora and Megan. Also my sister Katie. These four people have helped me through the worst time in my life and all of our friendships have changed for the better and we have all became much closer. When or if it ever becomes time for another wedding for me it will be a serious kick ass fun time with these four awesome best friends standing up there with me.

The happiest recent event was: Laughing on the phone with my friend Jennie. Last night we were talking about wedding themes for some reason. She was saying that instead of her wearing a coconut shell bra for a Hawaiian themed wedding she could just wear walnut shells instead, where as I could pull off the coconut shell bra. Guess it doesn't sound as funny typing it, but we were laughing our ass off at the idea. Guess you had to be there
My current annoyance is: Trying to figure out my life. Not really an annoyance I guess, but a work in progress.

Tonight I am: Not sure, probably watch stupid shows like the Bachelor. I know dumb show, but I can't help it. I haven't watched the show in years, but I'm hooked this time. I will also admit that I want the widow to win (shocking!) but I think she (widows everywhere deserve to be happy again one day)
